Nsi, a Netherlands-based company in the financial intermediation services sector, reported its carbon emissions for 2023.

In 2023, Nsi's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 897.86 million kg CO2e, while Scope 2 emissions (market-based) were approximately 853.22 million kg CO2e. Scope 3 emissions totalled about 6.84 billion kg CO2e. In the previous year, 2022, Scope 1 emissions were about 1.33 billion kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions (market-based) were about 839.85 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 7.52 billion kg CO2e.

Looking further back, in 2021, Nsi's Scope 1 emissions were approximately 2.50 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions were about 1.39 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 4.96 million kg CO2e. In 2020, Scope 1 emissions were around 2.41 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 emissions were about 1.72 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 emissions were approximately 9.36 million kg CO2e. For 2019, the total emissions were approximately 19.58 million kg CO2e, with Scope 1 at about 3.86 million kg CO2e, Scope 2 at approximately 2.25 million kg CO2e, and Scope 3 at about 13.46 million kg CO2e. No emissions data is available for 2018.

Nsi has not disclosed any specific carbon reduction targets, including Science Based Targets (SBTi), nor has it signed The Climate Pledge.
