Wiit Cloud

Wiit Cloud, a computer and related services company based in Italy, reported its most recent emissions data for 2024. For this year, the company disclosed Scope 1 emissions of approximately 223,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 market-based emissions of about 373,000 kg CO2e. Location-based Scope 2 emissions were approximately 15,499,000 kg CO2e in the same period. No Scope 3 emissions data was disclosed for 2024.

Looking back, in 2023, Wiit Cloud reported only Scope 2 market-based emissions of approximately 373,000 kg CO2e, without disclosing Scope 1 or Scope 3 emissions. In 2022, the company disclosed Scope 1 emissions of around 3,265,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 market-based emissions of approximately 4,489,730 kg CO2e, with location-based Scope 2 emissions at about 13,382,910 kg CO2e. For 2021, Scope 1 emissions were about 2,929,000 kg CO2e and Scope 2 market-based emissions were approximately 29,090 kg CO2e, while location-based Scope 2 emissions were about 9,725,980 kg CO2e. No Scope 3 emissions have been disclosed for any of the reported years.

Wiit Cloud has established several climate commitments, including an aim to progressively reduce its indirect Scope 2 CO2 emissions to zero by 2030 as part of its 2030 ESG Plan. This target includes achieving 100% of purchased electricity generated from renewable sources. The company also aims to get as close as possible to carbon neutrality in its business activities by working on direct (Scope 1) impacts by 2030. Furthermore, Wiit Cloud has a goal to ensure at least 70% of its company car fleet consists of green vehicles (hybrid/electric cars) by 2030. They also aim for a 50% reduction in energy consumption for data storage in the Group's Data Centres between 2021 and 2030.
