DitchCarbon gives every organisation a public profile it can manage itself, so a company being asked for emissions data can answer once and have that answer reused.

A customer is asking us for emissions data. Can I answer once and be done?

Yes. Claim your organisation's public profile, check the data already gathered from what you have published, and correct or add to it. The profile is what the teams asking you for data see, so one update answers the current request and the ones that follow it.

Most organisations sit on both sides of this. The same team measuring its own supply chain is also somebody else's supplier, being asked the same questions by a customer or an investor.

The responder side is the cheaper one to fix. Rather than completing another questionnaire, an organisation reviews a profile that is already populated from its published reports and corrects what is wrong. There is no fixed form to complete, and a file in whatever format you already hold is accepted.

It costs nothing. Charging an organisation to share its own emissions data is a model DitchCarbon will not run, so profiles, data updates, reduction recommendations and a calculator for organisations measuring for the first time are all free to the organisation.

Inside the portal the same section carries the tools that go with it, so managing how you appear to the teams asking sits next to measuring your own supply chain.
